1.Forum background
The world today is undergoing complex and profound changes. Exchanges and integration between different countries, regions and cultures have become the trend of the era. In May this year, the Belt and Road Summit was successfully held in Beijing, providing the Chinese experience for regional cooperation in wider range and at higher deeper levels, for enhancing international cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and for creating a model of open, inclusive, balanced and mutually beneficial international cooperation.
The Belt and Road Initiative is necessary for China’s further opening,it also brings unparalleled opportunities for China’s economic development and social progress, and scientific and technological advancement. Beijing University of Chemical Technology is uniquely positioned to become a world-class research center of excellence in the broadly-defined chemical industry. Seizing the opportunity to build first-class disciplines, the university focuses on national priorities in "new materials, resources, environment, energy and health” and meets major demands in military-civilian integration. It has created a scientific system that improves the efficiency, greenness, and performance of material transformation, and integrated chemical engineering and technology, chemistry, materials science and engineering, power engineering and engineering thermo-physics, control science and engineering, thus forming key disciplinary clusters in green chemistry and materials, in order to achieve cross-disciplinary development in the entire chain “from molecules to plants”.
This forum aims to conform to the development of higher education, concentrate thoughts and power for the construction of first-class disciplines, and provide an exchange platform for outstanding graduate students home and abroad. (1) Graduates from universities in Beijing, Ph.D. is preferred. Relevant majors such as chemistry, chemical engineering, materials, biology and energy are preferred. Foreign students can relax their requirements.

9.Registration and submission methods:
The forum includes oral presentation and poster communication.
(1)All the applicants should read the announcement and download the template, finish the personal information, the Abstract and Poster, then compressed into one file and send to the conference E-mail BUCTforum@163.com. Please name the subject of the E-mail as ‘Sub-forum Theme - Institution - Name’ . Poster should be PDF or EPS file format ( width 90cm * height 120cm).
(2)We will select excellent posters and invite the author to make oral presentations.
